The Western Sydney Airport Metro Rail project required specialist technical expertise in Communications systems to develop a credible installation strategy, programme, and resource analysis for one of Australia’s most significant rail infrastructure investments. The scale, complexity and airport operational interface requirements made this a technically demanding engagement from day one.
The Solution
L2iQ was contracted by Siemens Mobility to provide Subject Matter Expertise for the communications systems portion of the WSA Metro Rail project, as part of the ParkLife Metro consortium. L2iQ developed comprehensive delivery and maintenance strategies for the Communications systems, integrating the delivery of these critical systems with the overall rail system program. L2iQ then applied this strategy to the development of the delivery programme, analysing resourcing (human and plant) and access requirements to inform the ongoing delivery of the project.
